What the free CRO audit checks

The audit reads the page the way a first-time visitor meets it, on a phone and on a laptop, and judges it against the one action the page exists for: a purchase, a lead, a sign-up or a booking.

  • The first screen: whether the headline, the image and the first call to action say what this is, who it is for and what to do next.
  • The call to action: how visible it is, its contrast, and which elements compete with it for attention.
  • Trust where visitors hesitate: reviews, guarantees, delivery and return terms next to the price, the button or the form.
  • Friction: form fields, costs that show up late, missing payment options and anything else that slows the next step.
  • Attention: a predicted heatmap of where the eye lands in the first seconds, on desktop and on mobile.
  • Mobile against desktop: what one shows and the other hides.

What you get back

The same CRO report our customers get, for one page: a score from 0 to 100 with the score the page could reach, five to seven findings marked on screenshots of your page, each with the reason it matters and a before and after, and the changes in the order to make them. We email you the report link and a private access code. Open the link and enter the code when you are ready.

The method behind it is the same one we describe in how to run a CRO audit, and every point it checks is in the CRO checklist.

How it works

  1. Paste the address of one page and pick what the site does.
  2. EyeCaptain reads your site to learn what you sell and to whom, then captures the page on desktop and mobile in a real browser.
  3. The findings are written against that context and ranked by expected impact. The report is ready in under five minutes.

Which page to audit first

The one where the most money or leads are decided: your best-selling product page, the pricing page, or the landing page your ads point to. The homepage feels important but rarely decides the sale. For store pages, the e-commerce CRO audit explains what is judged on product, cart and checkout pages; for service and campaign pages, see the lead generation CRO audit.

Why it asks for an email

We send your report link and private access code to this email, so you can safely open the report when it is ready. Every audit runs a real browser on your page and several AI model calls, so the free audit is limited to one page per email a month. You only get tips by email if you tick the box. For more pages, a free account comes with 30 credits, enough for two more CRO audits.
