What Attention Insight is
Attention Insight generates AI attention heatmaps from a URL, screenshot or design file and scores them for clarity and focus. Plans are credit-based, starting around $23 per month for a solo seat.
EyeCaptain is an AI CRO audit. You give it a URL; it reads your site to learn what you sell and to whom, captures the page on desktop and mobile, measures what pulls attention and what competes with your call to action, and returns a report with the fixes in the order to make them. No script, no traffic needed. The table below compares the two on the questions buyers actually ask.

What Attention Insight does well
- A focused tool: if all you want is an attention heatmap of a design before it ships, it does that well and fast.
- Accepts design files and screenshots, so it fits into a designer's workflow before a page exists as HTML.
- Clarity and focus scores give a quick single number to compare two variants.
Where EyeCaptain is different
- A heatmap is one section of an EyeCaptain report, not the whole product. The same run measures CTA salience rank, elements competing with the CTA, contrast and legibility, persuasion levers present or missing, form and checkout friction, and then ranks the fixes.
- EyeCaptain reads your whole site first to learn what you sell and to whom, and judges the page inside that context. A heatmap generator sees pixels only.
- Every EyeCaptain finding comes with a before and after example and points at a measured element. Attention Insight tells you where the eye goes; it does not tell you what the page should say.
Which one should you use?
Choose Attention Insight if
- You are a designer testing mockups before development and only need the attention layer.
- You want to upload static images or Figma frames rather than live URLs.
Choose EyeCaptain if
- You want the heatmap and the reason behind it, plus the rest of the conversion audit, in one report.
- You are optimising a live page and want fixes ranked by impact, not a score to interpret.
- You run audits for clients and need multi-client workspaces and branded PDFs.
Verdict
Attention Insight is a heatmap generator. EyeCaptain is a CRO audit that includes a heatmap. If the heatmap is the deliverable, either works; if the deliverable is a list of changes that will move conversion, the heatmap alone is not enough.
