The #1 skill that separates average AI users from power users. Master prompting and get 10x better results from any AI tool.
A great prompt to a free model will beat a bad prompt to the most expensive model, every single time. Think of it like Google Search, someone who knows how to search effectively finds better answers than someone who types vague questions. The same applies to AI: your results are only as good as your instructions.
In this guide, we'll cover the essential techniques, advanced methods, and ready-to-use templates that will transform how you use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and any other AI tool.
Each one with a ❌ bad example and a ✅ good example.

Level up from "good prompts" to "expert-level prompt engineering."
Ask the AI to "think step by step" before answering. This dramatically improves accuracy on complex reasoning tasks. Works especially well for math, logic, and strategic planning.
Define WHO the AI is, WHO it's writing for, and WHAT the goal is. "You are a senior growth marketer writing for a technical SaaS audience. Goal: increase trial signups by 20%."
Ask AI to explore multiple solution paths before choosing the best one. "Consider 3 different approaches to this problem, evaluate pros/cons of each, then recommend the best one."
After generating output, ask: "Now review your answer critically. What could be improved? What assumptions did you make? Revise accordingly." This often produces significantly better results.
Create reusable prompt templates with variables: "Write a [TYPE] for [AUDIENCE] about [TOPIC]. Tone: [TONE]. Length: [LENGTH]. Include: [REQUIREMENTS]." Save these for repeated use.
For Greek content: write prompts in Greek, specify "natural conversational Greek, not translated," give Greek-specific examples, and ask it to use idiomatic expressions.
Copy, customize, and use. Replace [VARIABLES] with your specifics.
